Croft + Spire is a custom solid wood furniture design and build shop. Our paint and stain samples are for customers interested in purchasing furniture from us. With so many swatches to choose from, we want to make it easier to narrow down your options. Browse our vast library of samples, ranging from wood stains to paint options.

Due to spam filters and firewalls, if you do not hear from us in 2-3 days, please give us a call at 860-288-5117 and we will gladly send your samples.
We are not a paint and stain supplier and therefore do not sell our paints and stains.

Specialty Finish Samples

If you’d like to see a sample of one of our specialty finishes, contact us with the sample number. These swatches are produced one at a time, so the shop will design one just for you!
The prices of these swatches are different than our normal sample program, so don’t forget to ask about the difference.
Sourcing
Wood
We sustainably harvest the wood for all of our handmade furniture from local sources, each within 350 miles of our shops. This creates a substantially smaller carbon footprint than those who rely on imported materials.
Stains
Our quality stains are manufactured by various companies such as Valspar and Sherwin Williams and are regulated by the board of Ohio Certified Stains (OCS). Although there can be slight differences in dye lots, this guidance ensures that your stain is the closest match for all products from all of our shops.
