Wooden furniture is green because trees reproduce, strong because it's fibrous and versatile because it can be repainted to match your changing decor.Our Fanback Porch rockers are built with 100% Hardwood Ash. They also use the age-old technique of interlocking joinery. This joinery method will keep them sturdy and tight for many years. Premium-quality waterproof Gorilla Glue® and Titebond® III is used in the joints of all rockers. They also exclusively use stainless steel brad nails and screws in the assembly process.Each rocker is carefully sprayed with a premium, exterior, water-based paint. After the first coat of paint is dry, they are carefully sanded by hand. Then they are sprayed with a second coat of paint on top to give you a glossy surface that will get smoother with use.Even though our Fanback furniture has a high-quality coat of paint, all of our wooden furniture must still be kept in a sheltered place, away from moisture and the harsh elements. Constant moisture will most definitely shorten the lifespan of this wooden furniture.We recommend regularly wiping off any accumulation of grime with a soft cloth, dampened with soapy water.
